McKnight-Zame Lecture Explores Statistical Mechanics with Nicolai Reshetikhin
The Annual McKnight-Zame Lecture on January 30, 2025, featured renowned mathematician Nicolai Reshetikhin, who explored the Ising model’s role in statistical mechanics, discussing phase transitions and quantum structures. Held at the Frost Institute for Chemistry and Molecular Science, the event also included a mesmerizing piano performance by Liya Nigmati, whose artistry provided a fitting conclusion to the evening. Distinguished Mathematicians Honored at Mathematical Waves Conference
