On March 06, 2023, Jaqueline Godoy Mesquita won the “Science, She Says!” award from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in Padova, Italy. She received this prize on behalf of the entire South and Central America and Caribbean Region for her outstanding and impacting advancements in the field of mathematics.

This prize is for all fields of knowledge and in the edition of 2023, Jaqueline was the only one in mathematics.
